Nigerian singer and DMW record label boss, Davido, has officially opened his new house in Banana Island, Lagos State.
He Announced the official opening of the house on his Twitter page on Thursday, January 6, 2022, with a tense post.
In his post, the DMW boss wrote “I open my new house today! 2022 all blessings. Amen!
This is coming a month after he started a fundraiser on Twitter, a donation he originally said was for the clearance of his Rolls Royce automobile at the ports.
It was gathered that the singer generated a whopping sum of N200 million from the initiative within 24 hours and added his own N50 million then declared openly that the funds would be used to help orphans.
The fundraiser was launched using WEMA BANK, which later gave him an endorsement contract.
Also, in his effort to rightly disburse the fund to Nigerians, Davido opened an online portal for orphanages to apply for the N250m fund, in memory of his 29th birthday.
