Music star and DMW boss, Davido has indicated a possible music collaboration with Wizkid.
The music star made the acknowledgment during an interview with Beat FM, almost the same time he released his fourth album, ‘Timeless’.
He said the partnership will apt to be in 2024 after he might have completed his tour for ‘Timeless’.
Davido’s comments came after Wizkid announced in January that he will be going on a tour with him. Although, Wizkid later postponed the tour due to some “unforeseen logistical circumstances.”
“Yeah. I would be lying to you if I tell you that the tour is not in the talks. So it’s looking like next year. But I have to do my ‘Timeless’ tour first. And the tour is coming up in July in almost 20 arenas,” Davido said.
“I think me and Wiz are probably going to drop a record and we are going to tour. Shout out to my brother. He calls me every week and checks on me. Shout out to Wiz.”
Immediately after Davido released his ‘Timeless’, Wizkid asked his fans to visit streaming platforms to listen to the album.
Also, in the interview, Davido expressed his dissatisfaction with the just-concluded general election.
“I am happy people were not calling me because they know that if I was online I will be very vocal. I have always been vocal about it but I wasn’t happy about it. That is just being honest. I don’t feel like that was a credible election,” he said.
