The Federal Capital Territory Administration has confirmed nineteen new cases of coronavirus.
The confirmation was made by FCTA minister, Mallam Musa Muhammad Bello in a tweet via its Twitter account on Tuesday.
The tweet read “Nineteen (19) New Cases in the FCT.
“Summary of COVID-19 in FCT at 11:45pm, May 4th, 2020.
“Total number of confirmed cases: 297.
“Total number of active cases: 254.
Total discharged: 40.
“Deaths recorded: 3.
”Residents are urged to continue to stay home and stay safe.”
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Monday confirmed 245 new cases of coronavirus disease in the country.
Nigeria now has 2,802 confirmed cases of COVID-19; 417 patients out of these have been discharged, while 93 deaths have been recorded.
