The Delta State Government has said it confirmed a coronavirus case in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area, of the State.
The Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Victor Okoh confirmed the new case in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday.
Okoh however, confirmed that the new case was recorded in Ika South, emphasizing that residents of the local government must wear their face masks in public places or face the wrath of the law.
Appealing to residents to ensure total compliance to Government directives, Okoh admonished all to keep a safe distance from others.
The council Boss also called on residents to support the government in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Recall that Delta State had on Thursday morning recorded one death, which took the number of deaths in the state to four.
