The Chairman of Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Hon. Juan Amechee Governor has sworn-in Hon Chike Ezinwa as the councilor of ward 4 constituencies.
The swearing which took place at the local government council Secretariat, Aboh, was graced by councilors, party members, and well-wishers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor charged Hon. Ezinwa represents the interest of the people in order to promote the dividend of democracy to the grass root.
The council boss noted that Hon. Ezinwa should partner with the health department to sensitized the people on preventive measures against COVID 19, stressing that the safety of life comes first before the dividend of democracy can be enjoyed.
He, therefore, admonished all councilors in the local government to do the same explaining that many people in rural areas do not yet believe that the coronavirus was real.
On his part, Hon Ezinwa thanked the chairman, the people of Abala, Onuabor and Utchi communities for finding him worthy to represent them at the council legislative chamber and promised that he would always put their interest first.
recall that the seat forward 4 had been vacant following the death of its representative and majority leader in the legislative arm of the council in the person of late Uwa Chukwudi since February 2020.
