The dancers alleged that he had assaulted them in his villa in Asnières, a town in the Paris region, in his car and sometimes in recording studios.

During the ruling, Koffi was charged to pay Sh1.2 million ($10,000) each to the three women, as he was cleared of the rape charge leveled against him.

The court vindicated him of the rape allegations because of the conflicting evidence submitted.

But while responding, the counsels to the ladies said his clients are left in the lurch with the ruling after the rape charges were dropped.
