The Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices, POCACOV, has unmasked new ambassadors to boost its ongoing Nationwide Campaign against cultism, substances, drugs abuse, violent behaviors, and other vices.
The new ambassadors were formally unveiled by POCACAV national coordinator, CSP Ebere Amaraizu, during its engagement session on the occasion of JOKES APART, a comedy and entertainment gathering put together by its brand ambassador, Akpobasahan Ovuokeroye Samuel, better known as Comedian Ovkings under Ovkings Comedy at Hillsbay hotel arena, Lekki Lagos State on Friday, October 29, 2021.
Ovkings Comedy is a platform for self-discovery of young Nigerian talented entertainers and music artists.
While revealing POCACOV new ambassadors, Amaraizu thanked them on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force and POCACOV Stakeholders for taking the bold step of joining hands with POCACOV in the advocacy, awareness creation/sensitizations, mentoring, and reorientation of young minds for a better and greeter society using their various platforms as reflected in the Pocacov Ambassadors Standard Operation Procedures.
The National coordinator though reminded them that POCACOV is the Nigeria Police Force Community policing Initiatives working with different stakeholders and enhancing popular participation for problem-solving in line with the community-based crime prevention measures and approach of the Nigeria Police Force Under IGP Usman Alkali Baba.
He urged them to stay devoted and persistent as well as law-abiding as they are now role models and influencers to Nigerian Children and Youths.
Those that were unveiled include Tijani Babatunde Kolawole (DJ THUNERDEX), Wilfred Brown Chinedu, an Entertainer, Event manager, and Show promoter, Igwe Otuu Kingsley also known as VBANZ, and IGHOFOSE JOHNMARK Also known as King Omilinks.
Responding, Wilfred Brown Chinedu one of the newly unveiled POCACOV Brand Ambassadors said “On behalf of others I thanked the Nigeria Police Force on POCACOV initiatives which will go a long way in enhancing popular participation of youths in the community-based crime prevention approach and assured that they will all work with POCACOV in line with the stipulations of the standard Operation procedures of POCACOV Ambassadors.”
The apex of the event was the Award of Excellence conferred on Dependable POCACOV Ambassador, Comedian Ovkings on his persistent efforts in driving the campaign for youth value reorientation and self-discovery.
Also, comedian Ovkings while responding thank POCACOV for the honor and assured that “POCACOV being his family will always be strengthened through excellent participation using his platforms and that of other Brands Ambassadors.
