Nigerian Grammy award winner, Burna Boy, has dropped a new single ‘Want It All’ featuring American musician, Polo G.
Burna Boy made this known in a post he shared on his social media handles in the early hours of Friday.
The track, less than four-minute is produced by two American producers, Smoke Ono and Sean Silverman.
In the track, the 28-year-old singer talks about his struggle from the bottom to the top, his accomplishments at the last Grammy Awards, and also the incredible things of life he has owned.
According to Burna Boy in his lyrics, he sang “Remember when they said they don’t believe in me no more| I was sleeping on the ground, on the cold floor| Whole time I was grinding| I been trying to achieve| Working night and day, you know my people no dey sleep| I got every Louis V collection from Virgil| Now my life a fashion show, no rehearsal| Dior from Kim Jones, Bottega from Daniel| 100K my ring so I’m not shaking no hands no,” he sings.
In 2012, the singer started to gain popularity after releasing ‘Like to Party’, the lead single from his debut album L.I.F.E (2013).
In 2017, Burna Boy signed with Bad Habit/Atlantic Records in the US and Warner Music Group internationally.
His third album ‘Outside’ marked his major-label debut. He won ‘Best International Act’ at the 2019 BET Awards.
His fourth studio album ‘African Giant’ was released in July 2019, and it won album of the year at the 2019 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) and was nominated for ‘Best World Music Album’ at the 62nd Grammy Awards.
In 2021, Burna Boy would win the award for ‘Best World Music Album’ at the 63rd Grammy Awards.
Recently, Burna Boy asked Architectural Digest (AD), a prominent magazine in the United States, for a tour of his expensive mansion in Lekki, Lagos.
