President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday received the re-elected governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Phillip Shaibu in Abuja.
Recall Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, and his deputy Shaibu, was declared the winner of the just concluded governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Obaseki who contested the election with his major rival, Pastor Ize-Iyamu, pulled more votes than his opponent despite supports from the formal National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole.
