After four years: Dbanj drops new album ‘Stress Free’

Ace Nigerian musician and entertainer, Dapo Oyebanjo, better known as Dbanj, has come through with his highly anticipated album titled ‘Stress Free’.

In the album, the award-winning singer joined Seun Kuti, son of Fela Kuti, the late Afrobeat legend; and Burna Boy, the Grammy award winner.

According to the album, it contains 8-track with songs like ‘Ikebe’, ‘Banga’, ‘Big Vibe’, ‘Welcome To Lagos’, and ‘Stress-Free’, among others.

Dbanj in the 27-minute album also taps stupendously from the Afrobeat sound made popular by Fela while also collaborate with the creative efforts of Kay Switch and Teni, Nigerian singers.

The ‘Stress-Free’ album come after the success recorded by his ‘King Don Come’ album he dropped in 2017.

According to Dbanj in a post, he shared on his Instagram page on Friday, revealed that it took him about two years to put the album together.

He wrote on Instagram, “I’ve been told that you can’t live a #Stressfree life without going through stress and that if only you hang in there you would move from the #Stress into the free part and that’s why with joy in my heart. I’m grateful to God and to Everyone that made this Album Come to life.”

Again, he said “I can’t thank you all enough. It took us more than 2 years or more to put this together and I know how hard and difficult it is Because I already planned the release of Stressfree for my birthday last year but the most stressful season in my life came unexpectedly but thank God for the grace to scale through and today finally it’s out.”

Dbanj with multiple awards and distinction has verified himself as a dominant figure in the global music industry.
