A youth group, Delta State Core Comrades (DSCC) for Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Rt Hon Friday Osanebi has unveiled Hon. Dr. Sir. Chief Ominimini Obiuwevbi as state patron.
The group which cut across the 25 LGA with over 300,000 thousand members across various higher institutions of learning both homes and in the Diaspora said they are very confident that Hon. Dr. Sir. Chief. Ominimini will bring his wealth of experience to propose full leadership to father and mentor the leadership of DSCC to deliver victory for His Excellency Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and his Excellency Rt Hon. Friday Osanebi as well as other candidates come in 2023.
The National Coordinator/Convener, Comrade Esiri Kotor made this known during the inauguration of the Delta Central Senatorial 112 LGA Executives on Sunday 25th September 2022.
During the inauguration, Comrade Kotor uses the opportunity to thank His Excellency Distinguish Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and the APC campaign council for appointing Hon. Dr. Chief. Ominimini as the Delta central coordinator campaign council which he described as highly commendable and timely.
Kotor said that his nomination is a true testimony of his capacity and commitment to lead, adding that Chief Ominimini will add value to the much-needed capacity of leadership in Delta stats and Nigeria at large.
“It gives us great pleasure to announce that we have found Hon. Dr. Sir. Chief. Ominimini Obiuwevbi FIMC is worthy to be unveiled as the National Patron of the Delta State Core Comrades for Ovienebi across the 25 LGA.
“We are very confident that he will bring his wealth of experience of over 16 years of proposed full leadership to bear at this level. You have done good sir, let me use this medium to congratulate you.”
“The leadership of DSCC looks forward towards getting all the needed support from our National Patron to achieve our goals and objectives politically,”
Kotor added.
While still speaking, the convener said there’s no democracy without elections and there are elections with people
it is on this note, that the leadership of the Delta state core comrades for Ovienebi decided to launch his campaign at the grassroots level to in cooperating with the various communities, Ward, and units in the leadership structure of DCSS.
However, the leadership of DSCC is set to inaugurate 112 LGA Executives that cut across the eight Local government Areas of Delta central, to increase the level of political participation and political awareness of Ovienebi at the Grass Roots level.
Going forward the delta central LGA Executives Inauguration is the flag off of the senatorial district inauguration activities of DSCC, after today’s activities the leadership of DSCC is set to inaugurate 238 LGA Executives of both delta south and delta North senatorial districts of delta state and also the Unveiling of the delta south and delta North patron of DSCC.
On the 25th of August 2022, the Delta State Core Comrades for Ovienebi officially unveiled and inaugurated the 25 LGA Coordinators and 3 Senatorial District coordinators along with the National Executives at Topview hotel in Asaba, Delta state capital.
This Inauguration brought the spirit of comradeship under the umbrella body of Delta state core comrades for Ovienebi, which has Representatives of past and present students leaders, youth leaders, and women leaders across delta state for togetherness and effective mobilization and solidarity support for the success of Senator OVIE OMO-AGEGE 2023 Governorship election in Delta state as their major mandate.
