A 19-year-old girl has allegedly been raped to coma by a member of the anti-cult group in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was gathered that the incident happened around 9:15 pm on Thursday, March 25, in an uncompleted building, a place where the Redeemed Christian Church of God worships at Apala street.
According to reports that were seen by goldennationblog.com, the suspect, identified as Efe and his three colleagues forcefully dragged the girl at gunpoint into an uncompleted building where he (suspect) allegedly had canal knowledge of her while others of his colleagues are watching.
The victim said that she raises alarm but no one came to her rescue stating that, only Efe raped her.
The victim was also rushed to a hospital for a medical check-up to ascertain her situation.
The suspects and his colleagues were arrested after a guy who they earlier threatened with their guns reported them to the police.
However, the Divisional Police Officer of ‘B’ Division, CSP Kelvin Zukumo, while commenting on the incident, assured to bring justice, stating that, the investigation is still ongoing.
