A 16-year-old boy has reportedly killed himself after shooting his classmate to death.
The incident occurred in Lesiba Secondary School in Daveyton, Gauteng province in South Africa.
BBC reported that the two pupils were in Grade 10 and the incident occurred inside the school premises as classes resumed for a new session.
According to the report, it was gathered that South African officials investigating the circumstances said on Thursday that the incident happened on Wednesday following a quarrel that ensued between the deceased pupil.
It was also gathered that the incident has left other students and school officials in a traumatic state as mental health officials have been deployed to counsel those who may have been affected by the situation.
